How is it different from normal spot-the-difference?
Standard puzzles require you to scan back and forth between two images, which can be straining and tiring for eyes, occasionally leading to giving up. Okiraku's method is different: by printing two copies and coloring them at the same time, the differences (a missing line, an extra detail) will naturally grab your attention.
Benefits as a Brain Training Exercise
Comparing images stimulates the frontal lobe and visual cortex. Adding coloring introduces physical movement, color selection, and the satisfaction of completion. This combination engages more areas of the brain than standard puzzles.
