About the Sleigh
Sleighs and sleds are among the oldest ways to travel over snow and ice. In snowy regions they were used for carrying people and goods, and they remain a favorite for children's play on snowy hills. The long curved runners of a sleigh are made to glide smoothly over the snow.
To color a sleigh, consider using brown and red for the wooden frame and runners, and add a bright blanket in two or three colors as an accent. A pale blue for the snow shadows and soft gray for the sky keeps the scene calm, and you can add a few small dots of white for snowflakes.
