Aurora Coloring Page (2 of 4)
The second sheet adds a starry sky with a crescent moon, mountains, a river, and a small tent. Use a deep blue for the night sky and leave the stars and moon yellow to make the aurora glow.

About the Aurora
An aurora is a natural light display in the night sky, produced when charged particles from the sun meet gases in the upper atmosphere of the Earth. It is seen most often near the poles, as the northern lights in the Arctic region and the southern lights in the Antarctic region, and typically glows in green, with touches of pink, violet, or blue.
A soft way to color an aurora is to move from one color into the next, overlapping the edges slightly: green into turquoise, then blue, then violet. Keep the ground in darker, quieter colors such as deep blue or green so the sky lights shine, and leave small spots of white for the stars.
