The Tower of Babel

In 1563, Pieter Bruegel the Elder painted this vision of the Tower of Babel, from the story in the Book of Genesis. The enormous tower spirals toward the clouds, and stonemasons, cranes, and ships fill every corner with busy daily life.
Use pale stone colors on the left side of the tower and brick red on the upper right, as in the original. The king's white cloak in front and the blue water of the harbor are nice accents. With so many details, try coloring it over several days.
Look closely and you will find workers carrying stones, small houses, and boats unloading at the dock: a whole town at work.
This is a coloring page for recreation, brain training, and day services for seniors. You can print for free in A4 size.
